Christmas in January!

Wellllllll. What a VERY long time it has been, since I wrote last!!!!
I cannot believe how long it has been!!

Anyway, I'm back and I've been working on my website from time to time. It's not finished but it's good enough to publish. :) Go check it out over at http://abijlphotography.weebly.com/! Also, I made a dedicated google account for my photography. :) You'll find that under AJL Photography on google plus.
And on top of all of the above, I've had my drivers license since the end of April.
But the biggest news is I rented the Canon 5D Mark III! It was a complete joy and so very exciting! That was about 2 weeks ago. I've settled it as the camera I want to eventually buy. :)
I will post some of those pics in the very near future so be on the look out! But for now, enjoy these Christmas photos that I wasn't able to post until now..... Sorry! We had our Christmas celebration in January since it worked out that way for most of the family.
My oldest brother let me use his camera which was so nice of him! So, I was the photographer for that evening. :) <3
Anyway just wanted to let you all know about all that and post these WAY overdue pics! These aren't all of them since the computer they are on, is down at the moment.....
Talk to you all around the bend- or sooner!!

Life Goes On.....

Wellllllll. What a VERY long time it has been, since I wrote last!!!!
I cannot believe how long it has been!!

And on top of all of the above, I am going to do my drivers test tomorrow morning......I can't ven believe it's so close and I'm not freaking out...completely. Believe me, I am so scared! If I wasn't, then I probably wouldn't be human. Haha.
So, if I pass the test then they'll give my license! I'm excited about that part. :)

Anyway just wanted to let you all know about all that!
Talk to you around the bend- or sooner!!

Frosty Morning.

Hey ya'll!
Yeah, I'm still alive and here.....:/ Sorry for not posting sooner. Since last I wrote, we've left on a trip and come back. I should've written sooner but I've been trying to get my life and my priorities organized and in order.  I think my mind is still back in December or something. :-(
I hope you all have been doing great. I, well, I've been under the weather with a dreadful cold with lots of coughing and sinus problems-and tea. I've drunk A LOT of hot tea. :-)  And guess what? I was sick during a whole weekend we had three gigs to play which I only missed one of those and suffered through the other two. I don't really like being sick. :-\
Well, anyway, back in January (the 27th) we had a frost and so I just had to take some photos. ;-) I was busy with chores but had a break, so I thought, "If I don't take pictures now, it will all melt so I better do it now before it gets really hot." So with camera in hand, I ran outside as the hot morning sun rose over the trees. I was not to late, however, and I had the most fun I've had in a long while. So, I'll stop writing and let you delight yourself in looking at the photos. :-) Hope ya'll enjoy them.

I hope y'all have a fabulous week ahead and keep looking to the Lord for all your needs.
His Forever Little Girl,
Abigail J.

Until then, God Bless ya'll,

Photography: A Passion

I've heard my Mom tell a story that when I was about 4 or 5 years old, I lined up some flowers in between a bench and took a photo. She says I was short so I could see it from that low. She'll say I had an eye for photography back then. Well I don't really know if that's true but ever since my Mom got a camera I was really interested in photography. And now it's my passion. It's been my passion all my life. God really knew my heart and how I needed a "camera" so, He saw it fit to Bless me with an iPad mini. I have no idea why He chose a filthy dirty, sinful human being, such as I to Bless but He did. I love capturing His beautiful creation that makes me wonder how anybody could NOT give HIM the glory for it all!
God loves to show off to me how AWESOME, WONDERFUL, POWERFUL, AMAZING, He is, that I am left speechless! He continues daily to show me how STRONG and MIGHTY He is and how I need to trust Him in EVERY area of my life. I sometimes forget that He is the one that has blessed me beyond measure. But I always remember His great love for me.
My family is also such a BIG blessing! I never before looked at my brothers and sisters and thought "Wow, they are so talented! I am so very blessed to have them as my siblings!". But, God has been opening my eyes and my heart so that I now cherish my siblings and parents. Just this year, my older sister, Melody, got a job in TN and my other sister, Faith, got married. So, I am so glad for all the memories I made with both of them!
Cherish your family! Thank God for them! They will not always be there all the time.
May God Bless you all,
His Forever Servant,
~Abigail J. L. (AJL)
